In honor of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Señora Rothmeier dressed as La Catrina and visited classrooms throughout Cherokee Street Elementary School.

Across the Connetquot Central School District, students and staff celebrated Veterans Day with activities that honored and thanked those who have served our country.

As part of Connetquot High School’s Work-Based Learning Program, students attended a job shadow day at North Atlantic Industries in Bohemia to gain insight on careers in engineering and manufacturing.

The Edith L. Slocum Elementary School Garden Club ended the fall planting season on a high note thanks to the generosity of Mr. Porrini, a parent of two Slocum students, and his company, SiteOne Lands
