Academic Excellence, Creativity, Mutual Respect And Self-Reliance
Dear Connetquot Family,
Connetquot truly is a "AAA" district for its excellence in academics, arts and athletics. We are looking forward to furthering the outstanding strides that were made with student growth at the elementary and middle levels, as well at the high achievement in Regents and AP coursework experienced at the secondary level. While teaching and learning is the "bread and butter" of a school district, addressing the health and wellness needs of our students continues to be a core focus. We will continue to meet our students where they are at while also building strong connections with our families and community. Our Student Services Department is readily available to assist students and families with challenging or even potential crisis situations. Please be aware that the “988” hotline is available 24/7 for mental health emergencies, especially in the evening and when school is not in session. In addition, the District has various partnerships with several support service agencies. Safety also remains paramount. While our schools remain warm and welcoming, visitor protocols and procedures are in place to maintain a safe and conducive learning and teaching environment. The Security Department is also staffed and operated 24/7 and can be reached at (631) 244-2243. You are strongly encouraged to contact them, and of course, your school administrators with any safety and security concerns.
We are very fortunate in Connetquot to have numerous parental and community organizations, such as PTA, SEPTA, ORBBA, Athletic Boosters, Civics and Rotary who enrich and support our schools and programs. We appreciate their volunteerism and service to our students and staff. You are encouraged to learn more about them and to become actively involved. Please be sure to follow and celebrate the accomplishments and activities of our students and staff through the District’s social media outlets, videos, E-News and website.
Educationally yours,
Dr. “C”
