CHS hosts 4th annual Personal Financial Literacy Day

Connetquot High School’s business department held its fourth annual ninth grade Personal Financial Literacy Day under the leadership of Director Rob Cassagne.  

Upperclassmen from the business department and Business Honor Society played a key role in facilitating the event, contributing greatly to its success. Throughout the day, students rotated through a series of presentations led by professionals from the finance and banking industries, along with presentations and activities by business teachers. 

These sessions introduced students to essential financial concepts that will become increasingly relevant as they begin working and managing their own money. Topics included the importance of saving, strategies for growing wealth, budgeting, and making informed financial decisions. The day's event provided students with a strong foundation for understanding the importance of financial concepts and responsible money management.
