Student talent shines at 2026 Showcase of the Arts
Connetquot High School came alive with excitement on March 27 during the district's annual Showcase of the Arts. Parents, students and community members explored hundreds of student-created works, ranging from drawings and paintings to sculptures, and enjoyed a variety of concerts and performances held in the auditorium.
The event’s performance lineup featured the Oakdale-Bohemia Middle School kickline, Ronkonkoma Middle School kickline, and the high school’s color guard and kickline. Younger musicians from across the district also shared their talents as part of the districtwide orchestra, ukulele, band and chorus ensembles. In addition, smaller-scale performances by the high school chamber orchestra and Ronkonkoma Middle School chamber orchestra could be heard throughout the hallways.
It was an unforgettable evening celebrating the immense talent and creativity of our district’s students!
