25 years later, Connetquot remembers

Across Connetquot, students and staff came together to remember and reflect on the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. 

Throughout the district, schools observed moments of silence, planted American flags, held remembrance ceremonies featuring patriotic songs and provided students with opportunities to view artifacts and learn more about the events of that day.

Through each tribute, the Connetquot school community honored the lives lost and ensured their memory is never forgotten.
