Laughter takes center stage in CHS Drama Club’s spring productions

The Connetquot High School Drama Club delivered two entertaining spring shows on May 1 and 2 in the school’s Eric Martinsen auditorium, showcasing their talent and comedic timing in “Bad Dates” and “10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse.”
“Bad Dates” by Jon Jory and Michael Bauer is a fast-paced comedic monologue-style play in which one woman hilariously recounts a series of increasingly disastrous romantic encounters. Through quick character changes and sharp storytelling, she revisits a lineup of awkward and outrageous dates.
“10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse” by Don Zolidis takes a satirical approach to the classic zombie genre, following a group of students as they attempt to survive an outbreak using a series of “survival tips.” Blending humor with over-the-top scenarios, the play pokes fun at familiar zombie movie tropes while highlighting the characters’ often misguided strategies.
Congratulations to the outstanding cast and crew in bringing both productions to life!
