Connetquot students impress in annual typing competition

Students across Connetquot put their keyboarding skills to the test in this year’s annual typing competition. Together, they logged an impressive 3,495 hours with an average accuracy rate of 96%!
Open to students in grades two through five, the competition challenged participants to build both speed and accuracy. Along the way, students strengthened important tech skills while enjoying some friendly competition with their classmates.
Congratulations to the top-performing classes that logged the most total minutes: Ms. Tenaglia’s first grade class, Ms. Grieve’s second grade class and Ms. Gonzalez’s third grade class at Duffield Elementary; Ms. Cerulli’s fifth grade class at Idle Hour Elementary; and Ms. O’Connell’s, Ms. Meade’s and Ms. Dell’Isola’s fourth grade classes at Cherokee Street Elementary!
