Ahead of the break, Duffield second graders in Mrs. Randazzo’s, Mrs. Grieve’s and Mrs. Satchel’s classes got into the Thanksgiving spirit by creating their own Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, complete with handmade character balloons.

With support from Library Media Specialist Mrs. DeMaio, students paraded their balloons around the library and were also filmed “floating” them in front of a green screen. The green screen background was later replaced with the traditional Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade route!
