Connetquot Central School District

As part of Connetquot High School’s Work-Based Learning Program, students had the opportunity to participate in a job shadow day event at H2M Architects & Engineers where they experienced a day in the life of professionals in both fields.   

During their visit, students learned about the degrees and training required in the various fields, different career paths within the company, toured the facility, and took part in a hands-on engineering activity that emphasized collaboration, problem-solving and creativity.   

Each student had the chance to shadow a professional in their area of interest, gaining insight into daily responsibilities, workplace culture, and the skills required for success in these careers.
