CHS students gain real-world experience through Work-Based Learning Program

Guided by District Work-Based Learning Coordinator Michelle Rapone, several Connetquot High School students are participating in the Work-Based Learning Program, gaining hands-on experience that connects classroom learning to real-world career paths. Students are placed in a range of professional environments to explore future opportunities. Follow along as we share behind-the-scenes looks at what’s been happening in the program!
Meet students Julia Ligarzewski and Braden Zuccaro, who interned at Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.C. in Hauppauge. Under the mentorship of Steven J. Brennan, Esq., they observed the daily operations of a legal practice, attending client meetings, sitting in on consultations, accompanying attorneys to court proceedings, and assisting with legal filings.
