Connetquot comes alive for Homecoming 2025

The Connetquot school community came together on October 17 to celebrate an unforgettable Homecoming.
The festivities began with the annual Homecoming parade, which brought excitement and energy to the streets leading to Connetquot High School. Students and families lined the route to cheer on class floats, the marching band, student government members, the kickline and cheer teams, the Homecoming court and this year’s parade Grand Marshal, Assistant Principal Mark Sidman.
Halftime brought even more excitement with dynamic performances by Connetquot’s talented marching band, color guard and kickline team. To close out the halftime show, each class showcased their transportation-themed floats, featuring a rocket ship, racecar, train and pirate ship, as student representatives walked around the field, waving to enthusiastic fans cheering from the “bird cage”.
Fans packed the stands to watch the Connetquot T-Birds take on the Centereach High School Cougars. The home crowd roared as Connetquot secured a 42-14 victory to cap off the day’s events.
Homecoming 2025 was a true celebration of Connetquot pride, bringing together students, staff, alumni and community members for a day of tradition, teamwork and school spirit.
