Connetquot Central School District - PreventionNeeds Assessment (PNA) Survey
The Connetquot Central School District is conducting the Prevention Needs Assessment (PNA) Student Survey. Your child’s grade level 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 are scheduled to take this survey during their English class on December 1, 2023. The Prevention Needs Assessment Survey measures the factors that place students at risk and protect them from problem behaviors. Information gained from the survey will allow our district to continue to provide comprehensive prevention programs for our schools and children.
For the survey results to be accurate, it is important that all students are given an opportunity to participate in the survey. Please click on the link below indicating whether you OPT IN or OPT OUT your child to participate in the survey. Thank you for your help on this important project.

Class of 2024 - Information on Financial Aid (FAFSA & CSS PROFILE)
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is required for families to receive financial aid and is often required for college sponsored scholarships and grants. This year, the FAFSA is being updated and will not be available until December 1, 2023, two months later than last year. The Federal Student Aid Office of the Department of Education stated, "the redesigned FAFSA form is the most ambitious and significant redesign of the federal student aid application and delivery in decades, and will significantly simplify how students, parents, and other educational stakeholders use the FAFSA form starting this year." If you would like to read more about the changes that are taking place, please click on the underlined link Federal Student Aid website.
In addition to the FAFSA, many private colleges and scholarship programs may have you complete the CSS Profile to award non-federal institutional aid. This application is available starting on October 1, 2023. Colleges may have different deadlines so be sure to check with each school you are applying to. The concert will last approximately one hour. All of our students have worked hard to prepare for this event and they are excited to perform for a full audience. For the safety of our students, please plan to stay for the entire concert. After their performance, the students will return to their supervised warm-up room until the end of the concert. You will be able to pick up your child from their designated area after the concert has concluded.
