The district would like to congratulate Connetquot High School student Andrea Brazyte for being named the first female All-State tennis player in Connetquot history.

During this year’s athletic season, she finished with an impressive overall record of 9-1 in league play. Additionally, she played in the Section II League Tournament and was declared the winner in dominant fashion, losing only a total of six games. In the 2019 Section XI Singles Championship tournament, she finished fourth, earning her the title of an All-State Player.

“Andrea has worked very hard to become the player she is today,” said Amy Cohen, girls varsity tennis coach. “She started playing on the varsity team in seventh grade, has improved every year since, and to be able to finish senior year as an All-State player is just incredible.”
