Idle Hour Elementary students from kindergarten to fifth grade participated in the school’s Makerspace Fair on March 20.

The goal of the fair was to encourage and strengthen students’ science and engineering skills. Students were encouraged to upcycle items they already had and create a new function with them. Students had the opportunity to work independently or collaboratively on their projects.

After working incredibly hard on their projects, students shared them with one another during the day on March 20, then again with parents and the community later that evening. Great job to all who participated!
