To celebrate Women's History Month, fourth graders in Ms. Pinelli's class at Slocum Elementary researched famous women in STEM to help build an appreciation for the many contributions of women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics at an early age. Students prepared slides and an oral presentation to share with the class. The goal of the presentation was to inspire the next generation while also building confidence in their oral presentation skills.
