On Oct. 10, 30 of Oakdale-Bohemia Middle School’s talented musicians were inducted into the building’s chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. 

After a congratulatory introduction from Principal Susanne Bailey, Tri-M Music Honor Society adviser Melissa Johnson described the significance of membership in the Tri-M Music Honor Society, and congratulated the students for all of their hard work thus far. Additionally, Connetquot Central School District Interim Director of Fine Arts and Music Education George Rockwin was on hand to congratulate the students and their proud parents.

Tri-M is an honor society for music students of outstanding academic accomplishments, with a focus on community and school service serving as supplementary components. This year’s inductees included Tessa Burke, Lilianna Bosconi, Sophie Campagnola, Anthony Cannella, John Finnerty, Lindsay Kaan, Akshat Kamboj, Nazveer Kaur, Nina Keddy, Clare Kelly, Julia Kotliar, Marissa Latasso, Shea Lavery, Halle Lescak, Ryan Mandracchia, Olivia Medina, Emily Pascariello, Lindsey Quinn, Armaan Singh, Jack Dowdell, Alyssa Feldman, Olivia Karl, Michael Kerr, Alexandra Kotsonis, Mia Lange, Amelie Moussa, Katerina Papandon, Dakota Ramos, Liam Sommer, Rhiannon Whelan and honorary inductee, Mr. George Rockwin.
