Connetquot High School students enrolled in Lynn Parks’ baking class recently showcased their culinary skills, as they worked in small groups to prepare cakes that not only looked incredible, but also tasted delicious. After carefully measuring out ingredients and placing their cakes in the oven for the proper amount of time, the students utilized their creative abilities to decorate cakes with dashes of frosting and candy. As an added bit of fun, faculty and staff members were able to sample the cakes after they were completed, and chose the winners based on presentation and overall taste.
