On Feb. 14, Edith L. Slocum Elementary students celebrated their 101st day of school by dressing as dalmatians inspired by the Disney classic, “One Hundred and One Dalmatians.”

Students not only dressed as dalmatians, but creatively decorated their very own set of ears with 101 dots. Throughout the day, students also participated in a STEAM activity in which they were challenged to build a “doghouse,” using only mini marshmallows and toothpicks.

Slocum teachers were proud of their “pups” and all they’d achieved to become 101 days smarter!
