On Feb. 12, kindergartners at Cherokee Street Elementary celebrated their 100th day of school by putting on a fashion show for their parents and guardians.

Assistant Principal Mr. Renda emceed the event, announcing each class as they marched down the red-carpet runway. Each student donned a special outfit for the day, whether that meant wearing a T-shirt decorated with 100 items of their choosing or dressing like their 100-year-old selves. As the kindergartners paraded down the carpet, they struck a pose and waved to their admiring “fans” while upbeat music played in the background.

After the show, parents joined their children back in the classroom for some fun 100th day activities, including making necklaces with 100 beads, decorating crowns with 100 stickers, painting 100 dots and more.
