Connetquot High School senior Morgan Elliott was recently presented with the first Tim Bassett Leadership Award by nonprofit organization Athletes Helping Athletes. Elliott earned this award due to her unique ability to utilize the life skills she has developed through sports and for exhibiting the characteristics of a true team player. She also ranks in the top 6% of the senior class, has been a member of the varsity track and basketball teams, and has committed to attend Stony Brook University in fall 2021.
