On June 26, nine Connetquot High School seniors became the first in the Class of 2020 to receive their diplomas, thanks to an intimate early graduation ceremony hosted in the school’s outdoor courtyard. Several of these students are scheduled to report for military duty before the school’s late July commencement date, and others will be have begun their collegiate athletic careers. When the early graduates left the ceremony, they were met with a crowd of their classmates, family and friends lining 7th Street with congratulatory signs, American flags and spirited cheers. The Connetquot Central School District congratulates these students on their accomplishments and commends them for the paths they’ve chosen to pursue.
