Gathered in the school’s library media center, more than 150 seniors at Connetquot High School recently participated in a virtual conversation with Congressman Andrew Garbarino, U.S. Representative for the 2nd District of New York. Students in Christine Lennihan's Advanced Placement Government and Politics class prepared questions to ask the congressman on a variety of topics related to his position, policy issues and working in Washington, D.C. After an introduction by senior Carmella Eads, president of the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society, Congressman Garbarino spent an hour answering all of the students’ questions.
