Members of the student government at Idle Hour Elementary School recently decorated St. Joseph's Church Soup Kitchen in Ronkonkoma in preparation for a holiday meal for families in need. The students created placemats and table embellishments during a club meeting, and many also came to the soup kitchen on the day of the event to adorn the dining room. All involved put a lot of time and effort into making the guests feel special.
