OBMS and RMS face off in Maze Contest
We are excited to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students from Ronkonkoma Middle School and Oakdale-Bohemia Middle School who participated in the 2026 Maze Contest! The annual maze coding contest is presented by Jennifer LaRose and Patrick Brady, who are two Math/Computer Science teachers in our middle school’s Computer Science program under the direction of Louise Burger, K-12 Director of Mathematics and Computer Science.
This year's contest challenged students to combine creativity and programming skills to create original interactive mazes. Students competed across all skill levels in both 7th and 8th grade, and the results were truly impressive. We are proud of the hard work, innovation, and dedication demonstrated by all participants.
