Out of the kindness of their hearts, student-members of Ronkonkoma Middle School’s Tri-M Music Honor Society recently donated $400 toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation in an effort to assist with granting wishes of eligible children.

This past March, the students hosted and took part in their annual Tri-M Music Honor Society Talent Show, showcasing their musical talents, selling tickets at the door and running the concession stands. The students concluded that the efforts put forward by the Make-A-Wish Foundation were more than worthwhile, and so it was ultimately decided that a majority of the monetary funds collected that evening would be donated directly toward the nonprofit organization.

Make-A-Wish Community Relations Coordinator for Suffolk County Alexis Alpert informed the students, along with adviser Stacy Stollberger, that their generous contribution helped a 16-year-old child named Daniel have his wish fulfilled to receive a state-of-the-art gaming computer.
