The district is thrilled to announce that students Dylan Macejko and Michele Muscolo have been selected as the valedictorian and salutatorian for the 2019-20 school year, respectively, based on their academic successes and unwavering commitment to higher learning.

Dylan has committed to attending Binghamton University in the fall, where he will study computer science. During his time spent at Connetquot High School, he served as captain for the varsity swim team, and was a member of the National Honor Society and World Language Honor Society, to name a few. Dylan is also a highly accomplished lifeguard, often lending his time to teach younger students on the weekends as a swim instructor. In addition, he was named an AP Scholar with Distinction, signifying that he achieved an average score of at least 3.5 on all exams taken with scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Although undecided as to where to attend this fall, Michele is certain that she will pursue biology as her declared major. While attending Connetquot High School, she too was a member of the National Honor Society, along with the Tri-M Honor Society and Marching Band. In addition to being named an AP Scholar with Honor, Michelle also took part in a number of extracurricular activities such as Habitat for Humanity, the Animal Conservation Club and various Church fundraisers.
