Four Connetquot High School students recently participated in the 64th annual Suffolk County Mathematics Teachers Association Mathematics Contest, performing extraordinarily well and earning high honors along the way.

The students - Atif Khan, Saaim Rahman, Jinal Sheth and Aiden Spicciatie - were named top scorers for Connetquot in calculus and pre-calculus, and achieved scores which are competitively aligned with other Suffolk County participants. 

“We are very proud of all of the students who participated in the contest; this serves as a great accomplishment for Connetquot Mathematics,” said Connetquot Central School District Director of Mathematics Louise Burger. “A big thank you goes to Mu Theta Alpha as well for sponsoring our Connetquot Competitors.”
