Connetquot High School seniors Thomas Anderson and Jonathan Grenci were named Commended Students in the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Program for their exceptional academic promise.

The students entered the National Merit Scholarship Program during their junior year by taking the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Although Thomas and Jonathan will not continue in the 2023 competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, being named a Commended Students is a great accomplishment in that they each placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the National Merit Scholarship Program.
