The Long Island community has been reminded that Connetquot student-athletes are at the top of their game with the publishing of several Newsday lists naming the top athletes in their sports.

During the past several weeks, the following athletes have been described as “athletes to watch” during the 2022-2023 school year:

Top 10 in Gymnastics: Alex Melchiona and Avery Melchiona

Top 100 in Girls Soccer: Kaylin Mallon and Giavanna Meservy

Top 100 in Boys Soccer: Aidan Friel, Andrew Johnson and Tyler Moore

Top 50 Girls in Volleyball: Alexa Colondona and Lauren Konzen

The district congratulates the student-athletes on this outstanding accomplishment and extends wishes for much success in the 2022 athletic season.
