Rainy skies did not hamper the exuberance of the District’s students, faculty and staff who returned to the classroom for start of the 2022-2023 school year on Sept. 6. Excitement resonated throughout the halls of each of the district’s buildings as student peers found their classrooms and met their teachers for this year’s kickoff to a new academic year. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Lynda Adams reported a smooth opening and noted that students and faculty were well-prepared to make this school year a successful one. In a letter to Connetquot students prior to opening day, Dr. Adams said, “The first day of school brings the promise of great things to come. We are looking forward to another year of exciting growth and achievement. We are committed to working diligently with parents, teachers and district staff to ensure you all have access to the education and tools you need to succeed.”
