The district has appointed Robert Hauser as assistant superintendent for business and operations, effective July 19.

Mr. Hauser, an East Moriches resident, came to Connetquot from Bridgehampton School District where he served as superintendent of schools for the past three and a half years. In 2002, he left the private industry as a certified public accountant to start his mathematics teaching career in the New York City Public Schools system at Campus Magnet High School in Queens. More locally, Mr. Hauser taught grade 8 mathematics in William Floyd and grades 9-12 mathematics in Rocky Point union free school districts. Prior to being appointed Bridgehampton School District school superintendent, Mr. Hauser served as assistant superintendent for finance and operations.

The district congratulates Mr. Hauser on his appointment and looks forward to working closely with him during the 2020-2021 school year.
