The district’s Information Technology Team has been working all summer to prepare for the start of the 2021-2022 school year.

IT team members TJ DeBole, Nicole Clinch, Nicholas Diaz, Scott Halford, Kevin Heyman, Jennifer Miehle, Michael Moller, Santo Moscova, CJ Rung, secretary Dorothy Schweers and Victor Zambrana set up the district’s buildings with necessary technology and continued to support the district’s 1:1 initiative with individual devices for each student. They updated rostering in all of the district’s platforms, created a new technology department website for weekly Tech Tip Tuesdays, and spent weeks preparing for a technology-based Superintendent’s Conference Day, to be held Sept. 1. 

Additionally, technology integration specialist Victoria Pappas supported more than 40 teachers in becoming Nearpod or SeeSaw certified through homegrown asynchronous classes.

Director of Digital Learning, Innovation, and Instructional Technology Alise Pulliam said she could not be prouder of her team. Ms. Pulliam continually told the IT team to “keep your eyes on us” when she described the teamwork, fortitude and efficiency of the Connetquot IT Department.
