Students in Tiffany Prin’s summer program class at Ronkonkoma Middle School have been enjoying a variety of creative educational activities throughout the session. Recently, they created models of what a hurricane looks like from a satellite in outer space. Each student was given a hot bowl of water, which they stirred in a circular motion. The students then added blue food coloring so they could observe the water’s rotation, and shaving cream to mimic clouds.
