Connetquot Students Recognized by Islip Town Board

Two Connetquot High School students were recently recognized by the Islip Town Board for their many achievements and service to the school community.

Junior Julianna Levanti received the Student Achievement Award for outstanding achievement in leadership. Levanti was recognized for her many leadership roles including treasurer for the CHS school store, treasurer for DECA, student representative for the Connetquot Business Advisory Council, presenting Junior Achievement lessons to fifth grade students as a member of the National Business Honor Society and for her academic excellence in her business courses.

Senior Alex Yeung received the Student Achievement Award for outstanding achievement in social studies. Yeung was recognized for his academic achievement in his social studies courses during the last four years and his leadership of the Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society this past year.

The Connetquot Central School District congratulates both students on being recognized for their many achievements and service to the Connetquot High School community.
