Prior to the start of school in September, the district hosted a Google Level I Certified Educator Bootcamp course to enable educators to learn how to integrate the resource within their instructional practices.
During the two-day workshops, which were facilitated by District Mentor Alise Pulliam and Technology Integration Specialist Victoria Pappas, participants explored the tools within Google’s G Suite. These included, but were not limited, to Chrome browser, Classroom, Docs, Drive, Forms, Sheets, Sites, Slides and YouTube.
Following the professional development, attendees took a three-hour exam to demonstrate their knowledge and received their official Level I Educator Badge from Google.
