Students, teachers, friends and family of the Bosti Elementary School community recently gathered in the Oakdale-Bohemia Middle School’s gymnasium to enjoy the 2018 edition of the school’s annual “O-Town Circus Academy.”
In preparation for the big performance, fifth-grade students worked for two weeks in their physical education classes to learn the special “circus” skills required to entertain their fans. They learned skills for clowning, juggling, stilt walking and mastering the Diabolo Sticks.
Edward J. Bosti Elementary School Principal Laura Kimball would like to thank O-Town Circus Academy coaches Andrew and Ray, along with the school’s physical education instructors Tara West and Michael Oldis and the Edward J. Bosti PTA for making this program available to the community.
