Promoting Anti-Bullying with Art

In an effort to take a stand as a community against bullying, members of Duffield Elementary School’s Anti-Bullying Club, along with fellow students, teachers, administrators and staff members, recently covered designated walls of the school with colorful handprints.

“Our Anti-Bullying Club members have brought their vision to life,” said Youth and Family Services Coordinator Joanne Pisani. “The students were inspired by the Connetquot High School Anti-Bullying Club project to decorate the halls with colorful handprints, and so we made one of our own. The handprints of each student, staff and faculty member represents our unity in standing together against bullying.”
