In an effort to support families in need throughout the district, Connetquot High School has created a food pantry initiative, which was brought to fruition with the assistance of multiple departments throughout the building.
Connetquot High School will be accepting donations to the pantry throughout the summer, including nonperishable items such as dry cereal, cans of soup, boxes of rice and taco kits. If interested in making a donation, please contact the 10th-grade office at 631-244-2215, ext. 2191.
The district would like to thank 10th-grade Assistant Principal Michelle Laux, Youth and Family Services coordinators Rosemary Baldi-Abbate, Jessica Bubier Monahan, Kerrin Malinowski and Eileen McAlpine, Library media specialist Cheryl Carr and 11th-grade student-volunteers and National Foreign Language Honor Society members Julia Chesnowitz and Erika Jarymiszyn for their efforts.
