In an effort to bring history to life, the fourth-grade students of Sycamore Avenue Elementary School recently participated in the school’s annual Writing Celebration Wax Museum.
The young historians first researched a well-known historic figure, then created an informative display board and prepared an appropriate costume to display for invited guests, staff members and fellow students.
The individuals that students chose to portray included famous professional athletes, America’s Founding Fathers, well-known inventors and civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr.
