In an effort to give back to the community for the third year in a row, fifth-grade members of the Idle Hour Elementary School student government, along with their family members, recently participated in "I Love My Park Day" at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum.

Throughout the course of the day, groups were assigned specific roles to assist in cleaning up the Arboretum, such as picking up branches, sticks and twigs that had fallen off the trees during this past winter season. The students spent hours outdoors beautifying the grounds along with many other community members that were assigned to different areas of the Arboretum.
