Connetquot High School National Business Honor Society members took part in Adelphi University’s Apprentice Challenge, joining more than 240 of Long Island’s top business students as they worked with expert business faculty and marketing professionals to sharpen their skills.
Throughout the event, students learned essential and relevant marketing components, including the four P’s (price, product, promotion and place) and how to successfully create a marketing plan.
The students then tested their skills and worked collaboratively in teams to develop a marketing plan based on a sample case assignment. Based on their efforts, the one team that created the most successful marketing plan was awarded the coveted title of the “Adelphi Apprentice.”
