Sixth-grade students at Ronkonkoma Middle School recently attended a highly important assembly hosted by music teacher Dr. Frank Saladino. Throughout his presentation, he spoke about his decision to not let his difficult upbringing influence his commitment to make the right choices at a young age, which ultimately led him to lead a healthy and happy lifestyle. With assistance from his brother, Dr. Saladino designed a “Knowledge is Power” crest, with the notion in mind of guiding students toward the right decisions in life.
