Girls Track Team – Running Toward Victory

The Connetquot girls track and field team recently hosted the Central Islip Musketeers on April 18. The T-Birds ran, jumped and hurdled their way to another impressive win, improving their record to 4-1 for this season.
Connetquot outscored the visitors by 95-55, with Nikianne Otto contributing to the team’s victory by winning the pole vault at an extraordinary height of 10 feet, 9 inches. Due to this victory, Connetquot is now tied for second place in League II.

Varsity Softball – Improves Record to 9-2

The Connetquot varsity softball team defeated Bay Shore High School on April 18, improving their record to 9-2 and maintaining first-place honors in Suffolk League II. Coach Michelle Goodwin was pleased with the team’s sportsmanship, field presence and strength at the plate.
The T-Birds finished with a final score of 10-4. Ashley Spencer went two for four at the plate, while Kayla Kenehan and Rebecca Schwartz scored two runs each. Additionally, Sarah McKeveny was a contributing factor in earning Connetquot’s win.
