Preparing for an Icelandic Visit

Preparing for an Icelandic Visit Photo
In preparation for their upcoming visit from Leader in Me educators representing Iceland, the Bosti Elementary Student Lighthouse team challenged staff members and fellow students to learn an interesting fact about the Nordic country and write it down on a puzzle piece to be displayed on the school’s service learning tree. Among the facts they uncovered through their research, the students found out that the national sport of Iceland is handball, there are no McDonald’s restaurants there, and the country has no mosquitoes and very few trees.
