Track Team Outruns the Competition

The Connetquot High School boys track and field team is off to a great start for the 2017 season, as they took home a win against Northport High School during a home meet on March 27.

Under an overcast sky, the T-Birds ran, jumped and threw their way to victory, capping off the day with a final score of 92-49. Connetquot begins the season undefeated, led by an impressive display of athleticism by senior Christian Forletta, who contributed by winning the 110-meter hurdles (0:15.2) and the 100-meter dash (0:11.2).

Congratulations to the team and best wishes for continued success this season.
