John Pearl Elementary School recently held a schoolwide musical workshop featuring award-winning professional songwriters and performers Beth and Scott Bierko.

Throughout the event, the students and performers worked together to compose songs reflecting their appreciation of local Hometown Heroes, including members of the emergency services and their own parents and teachers. The workshop served as a fitting preparation for the school’s upcoming “Patriots” assembly.
