Awareness Weekend

Connetquot HS Awareness Weekend
Hundreds of Connetquot High School students, spanning grades 9-12, worked together with faculty, staff, administration, and Connetquot community members to build important leadership and life skills this November during the school’s annual Freshman Awareness Weekend. During the overnight event, which was hosted by the Connetquot Civic Club, students heard from a series of guest speakers and partook in interactive activities geared to promote leadership skills and problem-solving abilities. Coordinator Ms. Michelle Goodwin, and her co-advisor, Mrs. Cheryl Carr, helped to facilitate this memorable experience as a means of promoting college and career readiness for the newest members of the Connetquot High School community.
