Volleyball Heads to County Championship
The Connetquot girls volleyball team defeated Smithtown East on Nov. 10 with a final score of 3-1, thereby claiming the title of Suffolk County Class AA champions. The Thunderbirds will advance to face Massapequa on Saturday, Nov. 12 at SUNY Old Westbury in the Long Island Class AA Championship. Congratulations to the Thunderbirds on all their successes in this season thus far!

Football Season Comes to a Close
In a disappointing end to an otherwise exciting season, the Connetquot High School football team lost suffered a tough loss to the Ward Melville Patriots on Nov. 5 in the first round of the Suffolk County Championship tournament.
Connetquot finished the season with a respectable 5-4 record and the continued support and appreciation of the community.

Gymnastics Team Heads to County Championships
Five members of the Gymnastics team will compete in individual County Championships this Friday, November 11, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Babylon High School. The competing gymnasts are Liam Summers, Nikianne Otto, Elizabeth Young, Amanda Pisano & Sarah Moussa.

Girls Swimming Takes Home a Title and Continues to State Championships
The Girls Swimming Team took home a second-place title at the County Championship Meet, and six girls will be competing in the State Championships on November 18 and 19 at Ithaca College. The six New York State Championship qualifying swimmers are Emma Kopp, Leah Russell, Natasha Rice, Michelle Wottoon, Camryn Kruescher and Christine Llewellyn.
