Undefeated Gymnastics Team Advances to Suffolk Championships


Connetquot’s gymnastics team defeated Patchogue-Medford High School on Nov. 3 by a score of 162.2 to 155.45, ending their regular season undefeated and qualifying for the Suffolk County Championship tournament. “It has been an incredible season thus far,” said coach Renee Guerrieri. “The top six teams in all of Suffolk County qualify, and we are just so proud and excited to represent the Connetquot community in this year’s tournament.”


Undefeated Ladies Volleyball Team Triumphs Over Commack

Connetquot High School’s Lady T-Bird volleyball team took home an impressive 3-0 win over visiting Commack High School in the first round of the Suffolk County Championships on Nov. 1. Building on last year’s New York State Championship season, returning veterans and newcomers worked together to pick up wins of 25-8, 25-13 and 25-18 during the three-round competition. Coach Hertz was pleased with the team’s effort and anticipates that the Lady T-Birds will continue to build momentum as they move forward to the next round of the county championships. Mackenzie Cole had 22 digs and Nicole Migliozzi had 20 assists to lead the undefeated team over Commack. The No. 1 seeded Connetquot team will face the No. 5 seeded Lindenhurst Bulldogs on Monday, Nov. 7, in the Suffolk County AA semifinals at home.

Ladies Swim/Dive Team Advances to Suffolk County Championships

The ladies swim/dive team will be competing at the Suffolk County Championships on Nov. 4 and 5 in an effort to take home the county championship title.
