The following message was shared with families with children who were eligible for free or reduced price meals during this school year.
During our Covid-19 (Coronavirus) school closure, the district is to provide the free meals to you that your child would otherwise have received during the school day.
Both a breakfast and lunch that complies with the nutritional requirements of the federal food service program and that also accommodates for any dietary restrictions will be prepared and available for pick-up from the Connetquot High School, specifically door C, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16th and Thursday, March 18th. The following week, these items will be available for pick-up between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., on Monday, March 23rd, and Wednesday, March 25th. We will be in contact with you should the school closure be extended beyond Friday, March 27th.
All children in your household under the age of 18 are entitled to these free meals. In order to prepare the food needed to ensure that all families who would like to take advantage of this program, please enroll in this service by completing the following form: Emergency Food Service
